Description: In Auburn, Michigan my husband and I saw the sky filled with orange lights that seem to move together. The lights filled 3/4 of the sky to the north of our position which was Burger King. I am estimating there must of been at least fifty of these lights. I wonder if they saw them on the radar at the airport which is only a few miles away?

My entire apartment complex were standing outside watching the sky. I thought they were flares at first, but flares don’t fly up and away. It almost reminded me of the Phoenix lights. It was very cool thing to see. By the way the Coast Guard was flying the path of the UFO things. I saw two Coast Guard aircraft. My wife’s camera phone would not take pictures either. They were not flares! We live in St. Clair Shores, Michigan.

On the same night, August 18, 2012, between 8:00 and 9:30 PM my wife, my adult son, and I saw 15 orange/red lights from our deck. We live in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, and these somewhat fuzzy orbs were silently traveling over Lake Michigan toward Michigan. There was a series of 15 of these lights, evenly spaced in time 5 to 8 minute intervals. They were all traveling in the same direction. Their path would take them near 2 nuclear power plants within 15 miles of where we live. Each light was at least 20 times larger than the brightest of stars or planets. One light traveled just over the Lake, expanded into a circle about 1/2 the size of the moon and settled below the horizon.
