Bright Orange Stationary Lights Slightly Pulsing Like a Candle.

Location of Sighting: New Orleans, Louisiana
Date of Sighting: January 23, 2018
Time of Sighting: 11 PM CST

Description: I saw two identical phenomena last night at around 11 PM Central in southeast Louisiana, facing Northwest, very distant and at an approximately 70 degree angle above the horizon. The lights remained stationary, slightly pulsed, like a candle, but were steady in amount of light emitted. They were tapered at both ends and were bright orange. The objects were parallel, left lower than right. I first thought they were a “launch contrail.” But no launches scheduled that I could find. Low on the horizon was a crescent moon. There was heavy light pollution and it was partly cloudy. After searching images of “light pillars” what I saw was nearly identical.: instead of a solid column from the ground they were disconnected broad lines that tapered at both ends. Looked neat.

Note: The witness is referring to  the sighting of a strange vertical light seen by several witnesses in Manvel, Texas on April 1, 2016.

I saw this as well. Have been consistently searching the web to see if anyone else had seen this strange phenomena. I was absolutely amazed and in awe as I had never seen anything like this before. It was just as stated it was as if it were a pulsating orange light of some sort. My sighting was in the same location and time spotted. I am still unsure of what I saw.
