Location of Sighting: Murfreesboro, Tennessee
Date of Sighting: July 9, 2016
Time of Sighting: 4:57 AM CDT
Description: While driving home on 7/9/16 at 4:57 AM on north bound I-24 about 20 miles south of Murfreesboro. Off to the NW I saw a very bright white light came down at about 75 degrees. The sky was very cloudy from an earlier storm. No stars were visible. There was no visible tail or change in color or brightness. I was looking up through the roof panel watching the cloud cover. The light looked bright like a white street light. I watched it break through the clouds and drop to tree line at least 20 to 30 miles away. It took a few seconds to cover the distance. I am 62 years old.\ and have worked throughout the Midwest. I make a point to watch meteorite showers when I can. I have seen satellites burn in the atmosphere and falling stars. To come in at that angle and rate of speed to make it to the tree line without burnout and change of size or tail leads me to believe it was not anything natural. I have not been able to find anything about it in news Internet.
