Location of Sighting: Cleveland
Date of Sighting: July 26, 2015
Time of Sighting: Around 10:30 PM EDT
Description: While walking our dog, my wife and I saw a glowing orange sphere hanging in the sky. It was silent, making no sound that we could hear at all. At first I thought that it was someone flying a kite with a light attached to it. My second thought was that it was a hot air balloon, although 10:30 at night seemed to be really late for a hot air balloon to be flying. After a few minutes, it shot up at an angle from where were viewing it, and it was out of sight in a matter of seconds, disappearing into the cloud cover. No hot air balloon or kite can move that fast, I believe. I have no idea what it was, how large, or how far from the ground it was when we spotted it. The park was rather crowded for that time of night. I assume other people must have seen it too. I am not absolutely sure of the time, it was after 10:00 PM, and before 11:00 PM. I would like to know what it was. Surely there is a logical explanation.
