Location of Sighting: Willow Street, Pennsylvania
Date of Sighting: June 10, 2015
Time of Sighting: 8:30 PM EDT
Description: The witness and her husband were outside and noticed a large orange “prism-like” object to the Southwest. The object continued to move North and ascend. The object moved in a “zigzag” pattern. The object was glowing on the inside and was flying quite low. The witness estimated that the object was about 3 feet in diameter. The witness was quite certain that the object was not a Chinese Lantern or hot air balloon. The object continue it’s northward trek and continued to ascend. It appeared to move faster and was lost in the distance and height. The object was visible for about 15 minutes and did not emit any sound. The witness said that there was still daylight so she could see the object clearly. Sunset was at 8:33 PM.
Note: A check of the winds aloft showed that winds were from the southwest in the lower 5,000 feet of the atmosphere. Given this information the object could have been drifting with the wind. The ascension is consistent with it being a balloon or other flotation device.Note to Commenters: If you are reporting a sighting, be sure to include the location (city, state, country), date and time of your sighting.
