Description: On December 11, 2012 I was going to pick my mom up from work (at Central New Mexico University). The sun was just setting so it was fairly dark. When I was backing up car in the downtown area I saw two huge red lights at a very low altitude. (One would blink a few times and go out and then other one very close to it would blink in same pattern and go out.) The lights traveled north. I watched them all the way and my view was obstructed by the downtown buildings, when I got to my mother’s work location I was on a slight hill and I could now see the lights on the west side my mother and brother both saw them as well. We got in the car and on the highway (I-25) we could still see them. Then we went from west side of town to the Sandia Mountains and lost sight for about a minute. Then we then saw them coming back to the west side. The thing that really gets me is the size of these red lights and how low they were. If any one saw these please post something I don’t know what they were? They flew all around town for at least 45 minutes to an hour I know somebody else had to have seen these.Note to Commenters: If you are reporting a sighting, be sure to include the location (city, state, country), date and time of your sighting.
