Dave Mason Comments on Photo: I attached (see above) a comparison reference of the object to calculate the differential with the visible symmetrical camera distortions to the object photographed. The overlaid 0° and 90° red cross lines were lined up to the camera artifacts of solar rays and the faint left side lens flare. Although the object of interest appears to have some symmetry to the reference lines; it does not line up and it has an approximate 3° offset. It is unlikely to be an anomaly with the camera.
Description: I got your email from a co-worker. She had sent you a video of a possible UFO north of Harlem, MT. I wanted to share a picture with you that my daughter had taken by Snake Butte on the Fort Belknap Indian Reservation. The picture was taken just a few miles south of where my co-worker’s video was taken and in broad daylight. I will attach and please let me know what you think. Thank you.
Response of Witness to Questions: The date was 12/19/2014 at 10:24 AM. My daughter was driving to the butte for water and noticed it so she stopped to take a picture of it. Yes, my daughter used her cell phone to take the photo. She has a Samsung Galaxy S5 Active.
Note: Given that the witness saw the object means that the object IS NOT A CAMERA LENS FLARE! Also IT IS NOT A DRONE!
I have been seeing a ton of of these little smokey orbs and when zoomed in on there is always 4 or 5 bright points of lights within the orb, but they seem to be reflections or sun spots to me in a lot of the photos that I have viewed.
