Description: I live in Collinsville, IL (about 15 to 20 minutes outside of St. Louis, MO). On Christmas Eve I was outside about 8:15 PM with my husband and two kids. I looked up and saw several bright red lights, moving up then towards the North. I counted 8 of them. There is an Air Force Base (Scott Air Force Base) near my home and that is where the objects SEEMED to have come from. They moved very slowly, one seemed to move back and forth and not in a straight direction like the others. About 10 minutes later we saw 4 more. They came from the same direction and floated in the same direction as the others.

  1. Debra Howard says:

On Christmas Eve, Dec 24, 2015 at approximately 11:45 PM myself and 5 other family members witnessed an orange reddish orb going across the sky. We were not sure what direction it was going as it went diagonally back and forth, then forward, backward, then hovered. It slowly got smaller until it disappeared . Then it reappeared again in the same spot and does the forward backward diagonally dance. Then it like zooms in and out, hovers again, gradually gets smaller and disappears again for good.
