Description: My husband, a couple of friends and I were sitting on my back deck when I thought I saw was a meteorite to start with, but then it was actually a group of lights, 20 or 30 maybe, all different in color going across the sky right over us all in a pattern and all the same speed. I got up so I could see where it was going and they all just kept going until out of sight. Then we saw another red light that came behind that and went on out of sight. It move in the same path as the group. There was no sound to them and they were traveling at about the same speed a jet would. The lights were larger than what you see on jets and as I said there was no noise and there were 20 to 30 of them and the pattern of them was so spaced out that it took up what I would think of as 2 football fields long in the sky. They were moving in an easterly direction coming from the west.

I have an ex-military friend who witnessed just such an event in Lumberton, Mississippi about two years ago, and described them about the same way as these witnesses except he said that he saw many more than they did, and they appeared less than five hundred feet from him and moved in a precise longitudinal formation.
