Description: The city where the video was taken was Valparaiso Indiana. It was a clear night. The object was moving from south to north. It made no sound at all. We live close to O’Hare and Midway airports. All the aircraft fly east to west or west to east. Directly north of where I live is Lake Michigan. That is what struck me as odd when I saw it coming in. I am an Iraq veteran and I have seen many aircraft up close. There was actually 3 craft. The first two I did not get on tape. I was ready for the third one. They all flew the same pattern. I hope this helps. I tried to pan down to get a reference point because the sky was so dark that night. I also noticed that directly east of us were flashing strobe lights (two white and two red). They up in the air on towers. The kind one might see by airports. I know there is a small airport east of where we were in Valparaiso.
Note: The direction of movement of the orbs indicates that they were moving with the wind. Winds in the lower 10,000 feet of the atmosphere were from the south. The orbs could have been Chinese Lanterns or other flotation devices.
I witnessed this same exact orb that you have recorded on the same date around 10:40 PM. However what I saw was much closer (maybe 500 feet above the ground) which shot into the sky at impossible speeds. I live in Demotte, IN just 45 minutes out of Valparaiso. Contact me if you are interested.
