Description: I saw a red light on Mar 11, 2018 at 10:30 PM in Rocklin, California. I was looking toward the East. It was coming toward the West. It moved fast then it would stop and do the same thing again. Then it went North.

Note: The witness stated that this sighting was similar to the sighting of an erratic red light in the night sky over Martinsville, IN on June 27, 2015.

I have said a few times that I believe these are natural phenomenon that happen all of the time. people have seen them in trees and sometimes close to the ground as well as on power lines. I said at the time I wouldn’t advise trying to catch one or touch it because you might get a nasty shock. Keep in mind that we live on a very active planet where anything can happen. I wish a few people from NASA would take a look at these lights they might be able to come up with a identification of what they are. There are plenty of video shots of them. I would suggest that anyone having taken video of these things contact NASA and find out if they would be willing to talk a look.

Yes, they could be natural phenomena unless they behave as if under intelligent control or are responsive. Some scientists think some of these may be plasma balls. Other lights have been labeled as “earthquake” lights.
