September 15, 2012 – Greenwood, Indiana – 10 PM EDT

Description: I saw 8 or 9 lights that were very bright, red-dish, orange and yellow-ish. They were hovering in the Western sky in a formation like a giant dipper. They moved slowly, then one-by-one, slowly disappeared. They remained in the sky for 2 to 3 minutes. The lights were witnessed by myself, my sister, my husband, and my mother along with other neighbors we ran into. We all tried to take pictures & video, but our phones & I-pad would not work.

I saw the exact same thing last night (September 15th) as my children and I turned south on State Road 37 from County Line Road. We saw what looked like a dipper formation with orange/red lights. We got beside them as we got closer to Smith Valley Road. They exhibited very slow strange movements. Our cell phones would not work until we got past them.

In Westmont, Il on Friday the 14th, at about 8:40 PM, I saw a group of bright orange balls approximately 10 to 15 wide feet each in a slow, steady progression across the skyline in downtown Westmont. They started out as a random grouping, but then slowly started to move toward and finally into a straight line. It changed direction and moved toward the EAST where it disappeared. The whole sighting lasted under a minute. They appeared to be about as high as a small prop plane would fly, but had no other lights or marker. I just saw the bright orange glow that appeared to emanate from within the globes.
