Location of Sighting: Yamhill, Oregon
Date of Sighting: February 27, 2016
Time of Sighting: 8:15 to 8:20 PM PST
Description: I went to Google to see if anyone else had seen these lights. I tried to reply to this man’s comment.
I also saw these. I counted 5 non-flashing red dots, in a “Z” sort of pattern, and they certainly caught my attention. I knew they were something different. I came to this site to see if anyone else had reported what I saw. I was heading towards Forest Grove, just 1/4 mile from Yamhill, Oregon when I saw them. I did not get any sense of them moving very much, although they may have changed formation from a straight horizontal line to more of a “Z” type line which was less horizontal. I also did not feel they were very far above the ground. They were certainly less high up in altitude than an airplane would be.
They seemed to be directly above me on the highway, and to the right a wee bit, not moving fast, if at all, but in a odd formation which made me realize that they were not a radio tower or so forth. The time was approximately 8:15 to 8:20 PM. I had to meet a friend at 8:30 PM or I would have stopped to check the red lights out further, and take photos. I regret that I didn’t anyway. We were driving North, and I did not see them again once we were a half mile from the town of Yamhill. My guess was that the lights seemed smaller than an airborne car, but larger than a huge loaf of bread, and that they were maybe only 100 to 200 feet up for the lowest one.
I went through the same area again the next day during daylight hours, and I saw nothing which would explain away what I saw. I do not necessarily believe in UFO’s, but I know I saw something unique and not normal that night in seeing those red lights.
