Description: The witness (father) reported the sighting via telephone call. This was the night of the Phoenix lights and obviously this sighting is one of the several made during that night. The witness stated that his daughter first saw the triangle. He said that the triangle had 7 lights. The triangle covered a 90 degree arc of the sky (50%) and was at zenith (straight overhead). The witness's 3 kids and wife also watched the object. The witness stated that the object exhibited a humming sound. (He said that he had very keen hearing.) The object moved very slowy southward and was lost after nearly 10 minutes. The witness stated that he couldn't understand how the object could have remained airborne because it was moving so slow.
Investigator's Notes: Obviously this case is another sighting of the Pheonix lights. It is important to note that this sighting is not of the alleged flares that were seen about 90 minutes later (around 10 PM). The witness stated that this is the first time that he reported the sighting. He said that his kids are "terrified of aliens."
