Man Sees "Bubble-Shaped" Craft Moving Over Cow Pasture Near Highway

Description: The witness reported that he was driving home at the end of the work day.  He said that about 5 miles out of Guntersville that he saw a strange object about 200 yards to the left of the road.  The object was shaped like a "flattened" bubble.  The object had no visible windows, doors, or lights. It was moving slowly eastward (away from witness) across a cow pasture.  The witness said that the object was "distorting" the surrounding scenery (similar to the craft in the "Predator-2" movie).  The witness said that the object then shot straight up and disappeared. The witness said that he recorded his observations of the sighting right after it happened. He further stated that he reported this sighting to several military websites, but did not receive a response. 

Investigator's Notes:  This is an incredible story and really needs more witnesses and hard evidence to be taken seriously.  The witness could have seen what he described, but it is really impossible to prove considering that it happened over 8 years ago.  The witness impresses me with his sincerity.  He read my original report and made some corrections. (I originally thought that he saw an entity by the craft. He said that was not the case.  He could have not made this correction and let the "alien sighting" stand.) I will be checking other sighting databases for UFO activity in this area and timeframe.  Any updates will be posted. This case lacks sufficient information to be properly classified.
