Description: This is an event that took place an in the morning of April, 12th 1997 at approximately 02:00 AM. As i was driving home after a visit in the neighboring town, my eye caught a bright red light to the west of me (the drive was north to south). I was looking at the red light for a while as it had the bearing for the small local airport. I found it a bit strange as the airport only had daytime flights and I had never at that time saw any night time flights before. Well I didn't think about it for long after Ii lost it because of the blocked view, but after about 10-15 minutes drive as I was passing through a sharp turn through a valley I got my life's biggest shock. As I came through the turn I detected a strange light in the corner of my eye. I turned to see what it was (this happened very quick, but it was like seconds turned into minutes). I got so baffled that I didnt think straight. I slowed down my car to have a look at it. This thing was just hanging in mid air 20 meters (60 feet) from my car and at an altitude of the same. It was a dark grayish, triangle, seamless and had 3 bright white lights at the tips and a big red light at the center (all underneath the object). I went into shock and it got all fuzzy. I drove away in panic for some reason. In my dreams about this incident, I can see a person looking at me from the window of the craft, but I don't recollect having seen that when it happened. I also did not see any window.

Comments: This is an interesting sighting considering that it may have involved an encounter. I am trying to obtain more information from the witness. Updates will be posted.
