Date of Sighting: December 13, 1998

Date Reported: March 21, 2005
Location of Sighting: Devon, England (140 Miles WSW of
London)
Latitude: 50.7746138 Degrees N
Longitude: 3.99194 Degrees W
Number of Witnesses: (At Least Two)

Description (In Witness's Own Words): In December, 1998 my girlfriend and I witnessed something high in
the sky at night. At around that time a sighting was published in
the local paper by a security guard. He worked at the marble works
in Bovey Tracey Devon, England. He described a massive flying
wing. It would be nice to talk to him as I was in Ashburton
not many miles away and my girlfriend and I saw what I too would
describe as a flying wing. It traveled at the same speed as a
satellite I had just pointed out to my partner. The UFO was as
described illuminated on the edge with four large lights underneath.
Bearing in mind a satellite travels at 18,000 MPH I was amazed to
when the satellite came over again SO DID THE UFO. If
it was at the same height then not only would it be traveling the
same speed but would have been the size of a city!
Investigator's Notes: This sighting has just been received.
The witness has answered some follow-up questions (mostly
clarifications of time and dates). The witness said that a
newspaper report described a sighting in April 1998 at Bovey Tracey
which described a huge Triangular craft just above tree tops with no
sound. Apparently this was a large flying triangle (flying
wing) similar to what the witness saw in the above photo on December
13, 1998. Given that this sighting
occurred nearly 7 years ago it will difficult to gather much data.
I am going to try to acquire the newspaper article referenced by the
witness.
Certainly the drawing is interesting and indicates something
unusual. Any new information regarding this sighting will be
posted.
