Description: A 67 year old woman was taking her dog for a walk.  While looking at the bright star-lit sky she noticed a  large triangular shaped object silently glide over her position.  She said that the object had dull lights in a perfect triangular formation.  The town is small with only 500 people.  The significant of this is that little light was generated by the town so the visibility of the sky was not obscured by city lights.  The object continued on an eastward track and then shifted to a northward movement.  The object then disappeared behind a mountain.  The woman was somewhat frightened by the sighting.  She said that she was well  educated and not prone to hysterics or hallucinations.

Investigation: This report has just been received and little investigation has yet been performed.  I plan to check other UFO databases to see if other sightings occurred in this area. Slow moving, silent triangular shaped craft are a common sighting description.  Triangular shaped craft that move slow and are quite large have been regularly reported during the past 15 years.  Some well known triangle sightings were the sightings in Belgium in the late 1980s and the Phoenix lights in 1997.  Information will be presented as this investigation progresses.
