Description (In Witness's Own Words): Each night there's been
a bright light in the sky here in Charlotte, North Carolina, looking
south. it just sits there and moves as the earth rotates. This is
the 2nd night I've observed it at about the same time. I've observed
it for the last few nights. I am not sure what time it disappears. It
appears to be hanging low in the sky but not high like the rest of
the stars. will try to take a photo and e-mail it.
Investigator's Notes: The
witness took several photos of the light with her HP Photosmart 305
digital camera. It is my opinion that the witness has been
viewing Mars. Mars is very close to the Earth this month and
is very bright. Also the position (in the Southern sky) is
consistent with the position. UFOs Northwest wishes to thank
the witness for taking the photos and sending them in a very timely
fashion.
