Woman Sights Slow Moving Triangle Stop & Then Fly Directly Overhead

Description (In Witness's Own Words):  I saw what looked like a very large bright star. It then faded and disappeared, only to return in the same position bright again. it continued to do this for approximately 2 minutes, then started to move slowly over my head. When it was closer to me I could see that it was triangular in shape, with one main light at the front. This was the light which drew my attention. It seemed to slowly grow brighter, then slowly dim. It also had two smaller lights at the back. It was slowly moving in one direction, and would then stop. It was like nothing I had seen before.

Investigator's Notes:  Investigation in progress.  This report is "second-hand" in that it was reported by the friend of the person who witnessed the event.  It is also not clear if the event actually happened on October 9, 2005 or at an earlier time.  I will be contacting the person who reported the encounter to get answers to these questions.
