Description (in Witness's Own Words): My girlfriend and I were driving from Boise ID to Logan UT. We were
heading east bound on I84 towards Twin falls. We were traveling a
bit over 75 mph, and our location was most likely around the Glenns
Ferry area. My girlfriend was driving and she noticed it first. She
said: "Hey look at that." It was on the passenger side
positioned about 10 o'clock. She said something about satellite, I
was staring and it didn't move like a satellite. We both agreed the
color was odd. It was a very bright glowing blue. It was pulsating
but not flashing. It seemed too low to be a satellite, and I've
never seen an airplane move in spurts like this object did. The
total time was maybe 10 seconds from when we first noticed it. Its
flight path was straight, then swooping, pausing, and finally
ascending very straight and quick which it changed from blue to a
flash of white line. I was wondering if there were any other calls
or sightings during that time, and in the area? There were a lot of
cars around us.
Investigator's Notes: This sighting
can't be explained away as a satellite or as an astronomical
phenomenon. The witness has provided a very concise report.
At this time I have no explanation for the witnesses observed.
One would think that many other people saw the same phenomenon given
that the witness stated that many cars were in the area.
