Description (In Witness's Own Words):
My father lives out in the country and we were going there to stay
the night because we were in town visiting. My husband was unpacking
the car and I happened to see something out of the corner of my eye.
I looked up above my dads house, but a little farther back in the
woods, and I saw a bright green light (about as bright as the green
traffic light). And my dad lives in the middle of NOWHERE!!!!! But
it stayed there about 2-3 seconds and before I could tell my husband
to look, it disappeared into the sky."
Investigator's Notes: This sighting was
reported about 3 months after it happened. This says that the
witness was impacted by the sighting. One possibility for the
sighting would be swamp gas. However, more information about
the area would need to be obtained before this conclusion can be
reached. Given current data I cannot identify this sighting.
