Description (In Witness's Own Words): I sighted a round white object about four times the diameter of Venus just east of the Sun. The object was moving westward. At noon the object just vanished from a clear blue sky. There was a blue extension from about the 5 o'clock position of the object.

Investigator's Notes: The witness has provided a good description of a strange object in the daytime skies.  I have no explanation for what the witness saw.  I will be checking other UFO reporting groups to see if any other similar sightings were reported. Any updates will be posted.
