Date of Sighting: December 1, 2005
Time of Sighting: 6 AM CST
Date Reported: December 1, 2005
Duration of Sighting: About One Minute
Location of Sighting: Tuscola, Texas (North Central Texas
About 144 Miles West-Southwest of Ft. Worth)
Latitude: 32.25 Degrees North
Longitude: 99.77 Degrees West
Number of Witnesses: One
Weather: Clear Skies. Visibility 10 Miles
Description (In Witness's Own Words): I thought that I described color, movement in my post but will do it
again. (Witness thought that he had included this information in
his original report.) It was hard to tell the shape, it
looked elongated but rounded on the sides, was about the size of two
Jetliners put together. It was in the open sky and drifted to the
west very slowly then stopped for about 15-20 seconds then would
drift to the west again, did this about 6 times before it finally
got behind some trees and then it just faded away. This is the 2nd
time i've seen an object and both times they faded away in the same
part of the sky. The color of it when I first saw it was a Bright
Glowing Red color, then as it got a little further away and started
heading behind some trees it became a hazy reddish color...was a
solid Red on the entire object not just parts of it. It didn't blink
at all definitely wasn't Venus or Mars, I saw both of them in the
sky while this object was there too. Is there anything else you need
to know. Feel free to ask.
Subsequent Report (In Witness's Own
Words: I made a UFO report several days ago about a sighting in
Tuscola Texas. I tried to compare the size of it. I believe the
object to be about the size of two Jet Airliners. After seeing a
plane tonight and realizing how tiny this plane was in comparison to
the object I saw a few days ago I would have to say that this object
was more like the size of 10 Jetliners. It was definitely a
craft and I'm not sure what it was I do live near an air force
base but its not a top secret base. Civilians are on the base all
the time. Just thought that I would update you. It was definitely
something odd.
Investigator's Report: This witness
appears to be credible and a good observer. He has described the object in terms of
something conventional (jet airliners). He described motion of
object, position of the object, color and shape of the object.
After some reflection he changed the relative size from two jet
airliners to ten jet airliners. The witness was incorrect in
his description of Mars and Venus as they were not visible in the
morning sky in December. (They were visible in the late
evening sky. Jupiter and Saturn were visible in the morning sky.
Perhaps the witness was referring to these planets.) Given what the witness has
described I have no explanation for this sighting.
