Description (In Witness's Own Words): I just feel the need to report the sighting of what had to have been a UFO. It happened last Sunday, November 5, 2006 at almost exactly 6 pm. I was coming home from Salem, NH, along North Main Street, heading North. It had just started to get dark. No other cars were in sight, as not many people are out on a Sunday night. I was coming to a curve in the road, getting close to Providence HIll Road Extension in Atkinson, a road I traverse quite frequently. II was going a little over the 30 mile limit- maybe 35 or so. All of a sudden, I spotted what I thought must be stars in the sky. Then, I said, "Wait a minute, a meteor shower or stars coming down do not look anything like that!" What I saw were two parallel rows of lights, one of them was a tad longer than the other by a light or two. There were probably 7 lights on one and 9 on the other. It went too quickly to count. At first, I thought nothing of it until I caught the way it moved. It looked like it had a gentle burst of speed, as it went over the road ahead, flying very low to the ground in an east to west direction. My first thought was where could it be landing that is close by? then, I thought of the ancient Stonehenge that is not far from where this happened there in North Salem. I had done some reading on that place and saw an article in Reader's Digest many years ago about how this place in Salem was here beeofre the Stonehenge in England and that the British one was copied from this one. It's called America's Stonehenge or Mystery Hill Caves, Ibelieve. I've driven by, but never gotten out to look at it. It is said the ancient Celtic monks landed there and performed all kinds of sacrifices, etc. This would have been the perfect spot for a UFO to land and judging by its speed that night, I bet this was where it was headed. It's been bothering me all week - that I should tell someone ablut it, while it's still fresh in my mind. I'm not a quack, who's into this stuff. I can remeber my aunt always reading up on UFO'd going back forty years ago. People of that generation were really interested, I never thought a thing about them, not that I didn't believe people had seen them or more. But, I'm not a Richard Dreyfus, who's going to pile up my potatoes into the shape I saw. I was thinking it could have been elliptical, if you connected the dots or lights the way I drew down the lines of lights I saw. and, I am not a person who inbibes. Just thought I should record the facts, nothing but the facts.

Investigator's Notes: The witness has provided a detailed description of her sighting. Unfortunately I have been unable to reach the witness to obtain some more information regarding the sighting. Given available information I have no explanation for what the witness saw.
