Date of Sighting: August 28, 2006
Time of Sighting: 8:45 PM EDT
Date Reported: August 28, 2006
Duration of Sighting: 5 Minutes
Location of Sighting: Aylmer, Quebec, Canada (Few Miles West of Ottawa, Ontario)
Latitude: 45.4 Degrees North
Longitude: 75.83 Degrees West
Number of Witnesses: One
Weather: High Overcast With Cloud Base at 27,000 Feet. Visibility About 15 Miles
Description (In Witness's Own Words): I saw 3 yellow/orange objects appeared like bright stars parallel to the horizon and tracked from the north to the north west. After watching for approximately 2 minutes one of the three objects broke formation and tracked upwards (creating a triangular formation), the other two objects followed close behind. We continued to watch the objects for about 5 minutes before they were too dimm. At points in observing the lead object seemed to become dim and brighten. All the objects moved at the same speed which was neither fast nor slow. I attempted to catch the observations on video, however my camcorder didnt pick them up.
Investigator's Notes: The description provided by the witness does not fit any conventional phenomena (aircraft, meteors, satellites, etc). Perhaps with more information and more witnesses an identification could be made.
