Date Reported: May 30, 2006
Duration of Sighting: 20 Seconds
Location of Sighting: West Side of Camano Island, WA Looking up Over Saratoga Passage (See Map)
Latitude: 48.21 Degrees North
Longitude: 122.53 Degrees West
Number of Witnesses: One
Weather: Scattered Clouds. Visibility 7 Miles.
Description (In Witness's Own Words): I watched a small point of light, not unlike a sattelite move from the south up to the north. The sighting lasted about 20 seconds and in that time I watched this object make a number of moves form right to left, backwards and forwards in what seemed like a random pattern as it gradually moved up north. It seemed to first appear as I was looking at Venus in the southern sky. I started looking due south and when it shot off into the Northwest sky. I was facing due west.
Investigator's Notes: Given the characteristics described by the witness these lights do not fit any conventional explanation (e.g. meteors, satellites, balloons, etc).
