The witness reported the sighting shortly after it happened. The witness left a voice-mail and I subsequently called him and taped the interview. Witness stated and that he and his son were surfing and noticed some "chemtrails" in the sky. He stated that he noticed air traffic in the area. He then saw a silver orb that was slowly moving east to west. A small commuter aircraft approached the silver orb. On approach of the commuter aircraft the silver orb zipped away from the aircraft and rapidly disappeared.

Investigator's Notes: I first thought that the witness sighted a balloon, but after hearing the characteristics of the sighting the balloon explanation would not be appropriate. This sighting falls into the "unidentified category."
