Description (In Witness's Own Words): I was watching the meteor shower in the northern sky and my wife asked what this cigar shaped thing was. The object was moving back and forth in the sky and then shot straight up.

Investigator's Notes: The witness was very brief in the description of his sighting. I have written to the witness to obtain more information. I have verified that the Perseid Meteor showers were visible on the date and time of the sighting. More information is needed to classify this sighting. Any updates to this case will be posted.
