Sighting Reports 2006 Three Family Members Observe Two Lights That Blinked Slowly in Night Sky Date of Sighting: March 20, 2006 Listen to Audio Clip of Witness Report (MP3 - 8 MB) Description (In Witness's Own Words): A family was enjoying a hot tub and noticed two lights that blinked very slowly. The blinked only once per minute and blinked out sequence from each other. The lights were seen in the southern sky at about a 40 to 45 degree angle and they remained stationary. After about 30 minutes the lights disappeared. The witness said that the lights were "dimmer than Mars." Investigator's Notes: I don't have an explanation for what the witnesses saw. The usual phenomena don't fit (balloons, meteors, satellites, helicopters, etc). Perhaps with more data an explanation could be made.
