Couple See Boomerang Shaped Object Red in Color. Object Was Stationary & Blinked In & Out

Description (In Witness's Own Words):  These photo's were taken between 3:00am and 3:30 am. The object was in the south east sky. The object was stationary and would dim in and out. It was somewhere over the Joshua Tree National park. The sighting took place over a 30-45 minute time frame. This was taken with a digital camera. It is red in color. the UFO is in the bottom left side of these pictures. The shape looks boomerang.

Second Report by Witness: Hello William, These photos were taken in Yucca Valley, Ca. looking towards Joshua Tree . This would be southeast. My husband took the photos but didn't tell me for a week. I have been trying to figure out what to do with them since. My husband "T" (name deleted) said he was looking at this red light. It caught his attention because it kept dimming and getting bright then would dim or go out, but never moved position in the sky. When I looked at the photos, at first I didn't see the UFO either, until I zoomed in and there it was. The camera is a Olympus brio D-230 and 2.0 megapixel digital. "T" said that some of the pictures he used flash and others he did not. I sent them in the order they were taken though. It was the red light he was trying to capture but it was pretty far away and he could not see the object clearly when he reviewed the photos still in the camera. Let us know if there is something else you need. The photos are still in the camera.

Investigator's Notes: The witness sent two photos in her original report.  The red object (light) was not visible on these photos.  She sent a third photo that showed the red object.  After doing some enhancements of the photo the red object does show a boomerang type shape which is what the witnesses saw.  The object was visible for a considerable length of time and was blinking in and out.  Given available information and the photo I am not sure what the witnesses saw and photographed.
