Description (In Witness's Own Words):  My sighting was in San Jose California in towards the Stevens Creek Rock Quarry.  I live by Granite Construction which is also a quarry.  There is a video that I can't put on my computer due to software problems.  I saw a light with many colors flashing looks like a giant eye, but flat on the top and bottom.  The one I couldn't send to you looks like these ones, but is a bright red or hot pinkish purple.

Video Analysis by D.M.: The video is out of focus and lacks detail. The defocused image exhibits false detail that is nothing more than wave length diffraction rings and imperfection artifacts inherent with all optical systems when viewing a luminous object out of focus. Nothing conclusive can be made from examining this video.

Investigator's Notes: I had a long phone conversation with this witness.  She says that she has taken several photos of UFOs and regularly sees UFOs.  She took a video of the above object.  The video is very hard to interpret.  The witness said that she transferred the video from one video camera to another in order to transfer to her computer.  The transfer process caused the date/time display to be out of focus.  (You can see the out-of-focus date/time display to the right of the picture.  The video shows a red light that appears to be changing in size. (This could be due to changing of the zoom settings of the camcorder.)  The video has been analyzed. (See video analyst's comments above.)  Given this analysis little can be concluded from the content of this video.
