Date of Sighting: March 16, 2005
Time of Sighting: 11:05 PM PST
Date Reported: March 17, 2006
Duration of Sighting: 10 Seconds
Location of Sighting: Tacoma, Washington
Latitude:  47.15 Degrees North
Longitude: 122.48 Degrees West
Number of Witnesses: One
Weather: Scattered Cloud at 5,500 Feet, Broken Clouds at 9,000 Feet, and Overcast at 15,000 Feet. Visibility 7 Miles.

Description (In Witness's Own Words):  I was going home from work (I work swing shift) and headed West along Highway 512 (which eventually connects to I-5 North/South). After I passed the Midland exit, I noticed a blue round object traveling South to North in the sky which I at first thought was an airplane. However I decided to keep an eye on it and noticed it was going WAY faster than an airplane or jet. In my field of vision, it traveled the entire portion of sky within about 5 seconds. Then it stopped about as far south as my windshield would allow me to see (strange) and suddenly a second one appeared. Then it turned solid red and it became larger of a circle, and came North to South in about 5 seconds or so it crossed the sky. WOW!!!!

Investigator's Notes: The witness is describing something that is moving in a non-conventional manner.  There is some confusion in how she describes the direction of movement of the object (first south to north and then north to south.  She makes a statement "as far south as my windshield would allow me to see".  The implication is that the lights first moved north to south, stopped, and then continued south.)  Also the witness did not reply to my inquiry whereby I asked for some clarifications of her sighting.  More information is needed to classify this sighting.
