Location of Sighting: Tacoma, Washington

Number of Witnesses: Multiple (Exact Number Unknown)
Number of Witnesses Interviewed: One
Weather: Scattered Clouds at 8,000 Feet. Visibility 10 Miles
Description (In Witness's Own Words):
We saw a bright green ball. We thought it was a meteor at first, but
it was too "artificial looking". It went from east to west from one
horizon to the other and downward at a slight degree in about 1 and
a half seconds and disappeared. That's the last we saw of it. May
not sound very interesting but it was quite an experience.
Investigator's Notes: The witnesses at
first thought that they sighted a meteor. I believe that they
saw a meteor composed of copper (causes the green glow). Also
given the fact that the fireball streaked and was descending
supports the meteor "hypothesis."
