Description (In Witness's Own Words): My friend and I saw a blinking object flashing in the sky. the colors were blue and red. At first we thought it was a plane, but it was moving fast, and had already passed threw the sky within 2 minutes. As it was passing, it went on the far side of the star, making the star visible the whole time.
Investigator's Notes: Not much is known about this sighting. My initial impression is that the witnesses may have sighted an iridium flare satellite, but the blue and red flashes would rule that out. I have written to the witness to request more information. At this time this sighting has insufficient information to support a classfication.
