Weather: Broken Cloud (Ceiling 8,900 Feet). Visibility 15 Miles. Rain Showers Were Reported in The Area. (Witness Stated That Only a Few Clouds Were Present in the Area.)
Description (In Witness's Own Words): I saw lots of things moving in the sky. It was like nothing like I have ever seen. The movements were slow, fast and erratic. I saw at least 50 things in the sky at one time. This went on for hours.
Second Report From Witness: Thanks for getting back to me. The weather at the time was cold and clear. There was a bit of cloud off and on, but what my wife and I saw was amazing. It had nothing to do with weather or clouds or anything that I can think of. We both saw stuff that we can not explain. When I first saw something in the sky move around in an erratic way I asked my wife to come look at this. She then said oh look at all the stars out. We were looking south east. I then told her there is not that many stars in that direction. We then started to notice a lot them were moving. They moved in a way that nothing I know of can do. We also looked to the west and there was bright lights that moved. Some were brighter than others some changed form bright light to a light with smaller lights around them. As if they were scanning? A few went from one light to three or more smaller lights. At one point we were looking south. A second later in the same spot where there was nothing was now three lights in a horizontal row. We watched this for about three hours. We both saw at least fifty or more things in the sky. I don't know what we saw that night. There were a couple of commercial jets that flew over head while we were outside. Somebody else must of saw what we saw. We are not crazy or looking for our ten minutes of fame. We just would like to know, what did we see? We did whatc the sky the next night, but saw nothing. There was also not that many stars in the east where we had looked the night before. I know now we were not the only ones using the skies. Hope to hear from someone about what we saw. Thanks again for a reply.
Investigator's Notes: I have written to the witness to obtain more details about the sighting. It is interesting to note that the witness says that several objects (or lights) were sighted and that all were moving in some sort of erratic motion. It is difficult to say what the witnesses observed. I don't believe that the witnesses saw meteor showers.
