Description (In Witness's Own Words): To the northeast a bright light appeared and at first I thought it was just a star, but after watching it for a few seconds I noticed it was moving very slowly. As I watched it another light appeared in the same area and followed the path of the first one. Then about 30 seconds later a third light appeared and followed the other two. All three were moving extremely slowly. I grabbed my cheap binoculars and went out to the balcony on the north side so I could watch them. I watched to the north as they travelled from east to west at a 45 degree angle. Each one took about 5 minutes to cross my field of view, and they travelled in kind of an arched trajectory. Through the binoculars I could see that there were different colored lights along with the bright white. Red, yellow, and white. There was almost no sound coming from these aircraft, but I felt that there was a sort of humming sound that I can't really describe.
Investigator's Notes: I am not sure what the witness observed. The witness said that he heard a low level "humming" sound meaning that the craft were not flying too high. I don't think that the lights were satellites.
