Description (In Witness's Own Words): I live in Ste-Anne de Kent,New Brunswick,Canada. This is a photo that was taken by me in July 2007. Our friends from Saskatchewan were here and we all went on our other friend's boat. My mother loves lighthouses so I was taking pictures of the lighthouse at the end of the Bouctouche dunes. As you can see I took a lot of pictures. There was a storm coming up and I continued taking pictures. This was on Sunday July 8th 2007 around 3 or 4 o'clock. We had to come in because in the nearby area (St-Joseph de Kent and St-Edouard de Kent) there was hail and thunder. The next day I downloaded the pictures to my computer, looked at them, and didn't notice anything. Then a couple of weeks later my friend came over with her pictures that she wanted to email to her cousins. We emailed her pictures. She had her niece with her she would be around 11 years old and her son who is 3 years old. I told my friend I would show her the pictures we took when Tom & Pearl came down from Saskatchewan. We started to look at the pictures and her niece was in the living room watching TV. We came to the 5th picture and look at each other and I told her what is in the sky. She looked at me with big eyes. She said that is not a plane at that moment I said this is odd and her niece came in the office and said "Cool a UFO!" So my friend said its just a plane. Her niece said: "Aunty were did you ever see a round plane!" She turned around again and went to watch TV again. So Lisette with big eyes was looking at me scared. She lives not too far away form the dunes. So I took the pictures and started to zoom in. It looks like a UFO, but were not sure. Anyway I showed the picture to my husband and he looked puzzled but didn't say anything. I showed the picture to my family and they said that it looked like a UFO. Could you help us identify what is in the picture? (I am referring to the fifth picture. The storm was so bad that we saw 2 water spouts that same day. Weird!

Second Report by Witness (In Response to Investigator Questions):

1. No editing was done to the photo. This is the original. I wouldn't even know how to edit a picture. Ha! ha! Only 2 people live here and nobody goes on my computer. My husband wouldn't know how to do this. The only thing I did was zoom in and out. That's all.

2. The make and model of our camera is a Kodak Easy Share DX 7440. The camera has a maximum resolution of 4.0 megapixels with up to 4X optical zoom.

3. The object was in a southwesterly direction from our location.

4. The body of water that we were boating on is called Northcumberland Strait.

5. Yes the sun was shining where we were at this point before the storm hit.

Investigator's Notes: I don't know what the witness photographed. An enlargement of the object does show a round object with some reflection on the top one-third. It is not known if this was a reflection from the sun or from the object. The object could be a balloon, but it is difficult to make that determination without more data. Given that the object was not seen by any of the witnesses motion cannot be determined. Based on current data I don't know the identity of the object in the photo. I don't believe that it was a camera anomaly because the witness sent several other photos of the lighthouse and no anomalous objects were visible.
