Astronomical Data: Venus was Bright in the Northwest Sky at Time of the Sighting. Venus Set at About 11:15 PM EDT in the Toronto, Ontario Area.

Description (In Witness's Own Words): I was letting my dogs out and noticed a really bright star in the sky. I thought that was weird because Venus or Mars ( the bright star in the sky) was at the front of my house so I knew it wasn't that. I also knew it wasn't a satellite, plane or anything else I've ever seen. I started watching it and noticed it hovering and moving slowly up and down and going side to side. I got really freaked out and called my neighbor to check it out. After 20 minutes it started going further away, so I left the room. I came back 10 min later and it was back but not as close. I took my binoculars and it looked like there was 4 lights on the bottom of it. It also seemed to turn green and red sometimes but was mostly white. The whole thing lasted about 1 hr from the time I seen it till it went away.

Investigator's Notes: This report and some additional information provided by the witness strongly suggest that she was observing the planet Venus.
