Description: Witness stated that he and another passenger were in truck driving north about 60 miles south of Big Trout Lake, Ontario. The witnesses both saw several bright orange lights low on the horizon to the west. At first they thought that the lights were a truck, but soon realized that was not the case. As they continued their journey towards the north the lights disappeared, but later emerged much brighter. The witnesses saw 8 bright orange lights in a row with a green light that would pulsate through the row of orange lights. (See animation.) Eventually the row of lights sank lower and disappeared under the horizon. The area is very remote and sparsely populated. (See map above.)
Investigator's Notes: I spoke at length with one of the witnesses. He seemed sincere and was quite excited by what he saw. He did not believe that the lights were from any conventional aircraft and did not have an explanation. I don't have an explanation either.
