Description: One of the witnesses called and reported the sighting the evening after it happened. The other witness was present in the phone call and was supplying information to the caller during the call. The witnesses were "sky watching" in their backyard and noticed a large circular orange light to the northwest. The light was quite bright and slightly smaller than a full moon. The light apparently was at about "tree level" and hovered for a considerable period (nearly 20 minutes). The light then streaked to the east and disappeared. No sound was heard.

Investigator's Notes: The description provided by the witnesses does not fit any conventional phenomena like meteors, satellites, or ball lightning.
