Description (In Witness's Own Words): On this date and time I was sitting on my patio watching TV. It was a clear afternoon with a brilliant blue sky except for some high clouds to my left. I am 69 years old and have always been interested in planes, watching them in flight and such. I had a pair of 10x binoculars nearby on the table, which is normally the case when I am outside. I heard a plane approching from my right and picked up my binoculars to track it. Its flight path was directly from my right to my left, and when it was just about directly in front of me, I noticed above the plane a brilliant white dot against the clear blue sky. This dot did not appear to be near the plane, but much further away. I allowed the plane to fly out of my vision while I kept focused on this dot. It was very small no bigger than 3/16 of an inch in diameter. After a few seconds I realized that this object was moving, so at that point I became very focused in remembering exactly what I was seeing. It moved very slowly in my direction for approximately 40 to 45 seconds, straight as could be. I could not see any deviation at all from this straight path. At that point it stopped, and it appeared slightly larger, 1/4 to 5/16 inches or so. At that point it seemed as if I could see a slight light grey line across the middle, but it was very light. It stayed perfectly still for about another 40 to 50 seconds, absolutely no movement at all. Then it started to move to the right, again very slowly and very straight. It looked as if it could have been rolling on a table. This movement to the right lasted for 4 to 5 seconds and it covered 5 to 6 inches of movement, then it stopped again and stayed perfectly motionless for another 40 to 45 seconds. After that brief period it started moving to the left again very straight and slightly faster than before. I watched this movement to the left for about 6 to 7 seconds until it vanished above the cloud. I believe it went above the cloud because this dot was a solid very white color and the cloud was more of a wispy white to light to grey color. I am not computer literate so I could not attach any drawing. I have been watching the sky since I was a child. I have seen many planes, balloons, birds, etc so I know that what I saw was none of those objects. Also I know from experience that I could not have seen this object without the binoculars. It was a very strange experience. If I can be of any further assistance you can call me at the number provided.

Investigator's Notes: The witness has given a detailed description of his sighting and has provided a good argument that the object displayed "nonconventional movement" and had unusual characteristics.
