Description: Listen to Audio of Witness Report (MP3).
The witness left a voice mail immediately after the incident happened. The witness was awakened by her teenage son who was excited about hearing a strange hum in the sky. At first he thought that it was an airplane, but realized that the sound was different. Both the mother and her husband arose and heard the hum. The hum was followed by three bright flashes. The son went back downstairs and said that the lights had dimmed during the episode.

Investigator's Notes: None of the witnesses actually saw anything in the sky. The sound became gradually louder and then softer as if something were flying overhead. All of the witnesses said that it was the normal sound of any airplane or helicopter. The flashes and "light dimming" are also a mystery. No thunderstorms were known to be in the area at the time. The "light dimming" could have been a coinidence. There is no evidence linking it to the hum or flashes.
