Description (In Witness's Own Words): We were all at Nelsons Ledges in Garrettsville, Ohio for Gratefulfest 8. It was late, the second set for the last concert of the night on Saturday, July 7, 2007. My friend then pointed up into the sky to show me a fireball much larger than a star just hovering in the sky. Everyone at the concert saw it. After we stared at it for a while it just faded out. We all thought it could be a meteor that burned up in the Earth's atmosphere, but I can't find any reports of any meteors for that night.
Investigator's Notes: This fireball was likely a meteor burning up in the Earth's atmosphere. |
