The witness was driving on the Muskogee Turnpike and noticed a bright light to her left. The light was moving very fast and was growing larger and brighter. She heard no sound, but felt somewhat frightened by the light. The light apparently slowed, but continued to be very bright and was so bright that "it was difficult to look at" according to the witness. The light moved lower on the horizon and was just above treeline. The witness lost sight of the light after about 4 minutes.

Investigator's Notes: The witness was profoundly affected by this experience and felt quite anxious during the sighting. My initial impression was that this was a helicopter, but the witness was quite certain that it was not given the lack of sound. The witness is going to talk to some others who she thinks may have witnessed the sighting. Any updates will be posted. Given current information I have no explanation for what the witness saw.
