Description: The witness called and reported her sighting. She was very frightened by what she saw because of prior experiences. She was driving westward on 95th street and saw the object to the west. She turned south onto route 59 and continued to watch the object. She pulled off to the side of the road to the watch the object. At that time the object was "darting" around in the sky. The object then shot up and disappeared. The witness had two prior experiences of considerable missing time and felt threatened by the apprearance of this object.

Comments: I spoke at length with the witness and she seemed sincere, intelligent, and very frightened by what she saw. She recounted two missing time experiences over 20 years ago. In one experience she lost 2 days and claimed to have been "teleported" about 500 miles. She recalls driving from southern Wisconsin to her home in Illinois. The drive normally took 6 to 7 hours. She left Wisconsin in a snowstorm on a Sunday night and had just filled her car with gas. She recalls seeing a bright light and then the next thing that she remembers is being in her car across the street from a house in Peru, Illinois on a Tuesday afternoon. (She had lost nearly 48 hours of time and was about 500 miles from her departure location.) The gas tank on her car was on full. She had no other receipts for gas besides the one that kept when she gassed up at the start of her journey. Subsequent to this episode (1985) she had another similar episode in 1992. She said that she was frightened by her above sighting because of these two previous missing time episodes.
