Drawing of Sequence of Events of Sighting By Witness
Illustration of Sequence of Sighting (1 through 4) by Witness

Date of Sighting: May 12, 2007
Time of Sighting: 6 PM PDT
Date Sighting Reported: May 12, 2007
Duration of Sighting: 8 Minutes
Location: San Diego, California (Point Loma Area)
Latitude: 32.75 Degrees North
Longitude: 117.21 Degrees West
Number of Witnesses: Four
Number of Witnesses Interviewed: One
Weather: Mostly Clear With a Few High "Streaky" Clouds. (Per Witness Observation.)

Description: The witness phoned in his sighting about 45 minutes after it happened. His first sentence was that "I saw a UFO." It was difficult to get an exact description of what occurred because at first only large object was sighted. Then two smaller objects appeared below the larger object. The objects then rose in a triangular formation. The witness stated at first that the object was moving horizontally from the Northwest. At that point it stopped and the two smaller objects appeared below it. The objects then rose in the triangular formation. Apparently the objects were white in color. The witness lost sight of the objects when they rose high enough so that they became invisible.

Investigator's Notes: The witness has described something unusual. However, when someone says "I saw a UFO" that sometimes can be indicative of a hoax. Also at the end of my conversation with the witness he asked: "Was this a UFO?" I requested that the witness provide a temporal sketch of how the objects changed in number and configuration during the period of the sighting. If received, this sketch will be posted. At this point I cannot properly classify this sighting although it could be hoax.
