Description (In Witness's Own Words): My family and I were at the Saxtons river rec. a swimming area, and it was around 9:00 pm I was looking in the water for cray fish and my husband yelled to us. He said that he saw an large bright orange light flying sideways in the sky. When he yelled to me and the kids to look up the light vanished. He said that when the light died out it did it from the inside out the center turned black and then the outside.

Investigator's Notes: It seems like no two UFO sightings are alike and this sighting certainly has some peculiarities. Given that thunderstorm activity was in the area 3 to 4 hours before the sighting there is a slight possibility that the witness may have experienced the "ball lightning" phenomenon. Skies were still cloudy at the time of the sighting and the humidity was high. However, ball lightning is only a "possible" explanation and not a certainty.
