Description (In Witness's Own Words): As we walked out the door from the Wal Mart in Show Low on Sunday, September 2nd at 5:06 pm when we saw most of the people in the parking lot looking into the sky at this bright object. We watched this object for about 15 minutes before leaving the parking lot. The object was stationary and did not move at all. As my wife and I were on vacation we had our digital camera with us and took a few pics. When I got home I tried to blow it up yet could not tell what the object was. I am attaching the pics I took.

Investigator's Notes: I don't believe that the object in the photo is a bright planet because planets would not be visible well before sunset. Two other similar sightings of bright lights occurred on September 2. One sighting of this object occurred at San Carlos Lake, Arizona about 90 minutes later. Click here to read about this sighting.
