Description (In Witness's Own Words): Yes hello, I was reading the article that someone had posted about orange lights in the sky. I too have seen orange lights in the sky where I live. The light comes on, flashes and its like all of a sudden it dissapears. You hear a lot of jets flying overhead, and then as the lights appear, the jets go after the light. Its a good game of cat and mouse for about an hour or so. The first time I saw this, my roomates and I didn't know what to think. That sighting was about a month ago. Tonight we saw them again and this lasted a little longer. We saw three or so consecutive lights together and they would run the sky as if moving in a very slow pace, disappear and then reappear so miles away in the sky. So we assumed millitary, but after reading that gentlemen's testimony, I am not quite sure now what it could be. Since that man has written his report about a year ago, did you find an aswer to the mysterious lights? If so, please contact me anytime. I live out in the country in a small town called Timewell, IL. (Note: witness is referring to a report of several orange lights in the sky in Las Cruces, New Mexico on February 14, 2006. Investigator's Notes: The witness is comparing her sighting to the sighting in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Witnesses in the Las Cruces sighting reported 70+ lights in the sky while the above report only refers to a few lights. However, both sightings involved orange lights and reported pursuit by jet aircraft. The witness stated that the lights would disappear and then reappear in a different part of the sky. Given available information I do not know the source of the orange lights. The sighting was in a rural area so it is unlikely that few (if any) other people would have seen the lights.
